Bow down to the king of trainers, Nike has done it again. Their latest collection is influenced by 6 cities represented by 3 flower-prints that are traditionally associated with them.
This year has seen many a powerful fashion collaboration, but none is so exciting as when the collaborators in question are so chalk and cheese. I am of course talking about sportswear genius Adidas and Mary Katrantrzou, famous for her vibrant print and symbol dresses collaborating on the most exciting fashion project of AW14. Having previously collaborated with Pharrell Williams, Topshop, Yohji Yamamoto and countless others, Adidas has set the bar high and we were certainly excited for this one! Combining an unmistakably-Kantranzou like print with Adidas sportswear shapes and materials, this collection gives a new lease of life to the ongoing athletic trend. With prices ranging from £60 – £330 it’s not completely out of price range either, being no more expensive than Alexander Wang x H&M’s recent collaboration.
